Jill has over 25 years of experience working with clients across the lifespan, from preschoolers to adults. She has particular expertise in trauma treatment. Early in her career, Jill served as part of a trauma response team at Ground Zero in the weeks following 9/11, where she provided direct support to survivors and first responders.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State, Jill previously held licensure in New Jersey as well. She is the President and Founder of Mindfulness Matters Psychotherapy. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University in 2000 and has been providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families ever since. She is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, EMDR Certified Therapist, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Level II (CCTP-II).
Outside of her clinical work, Jill enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and her dogs—Edison, Gizmo, and Olive.
